Seen On The Road in August

  • A basset hound, wandering aimlessly. When I slowed to pass him, he slowly hurried out of the road and into a yard.
  • 5 loaves of Stop & Shop store brand white bread.
  • A lit cigarette ejected from the window of a car bearing the following bumper sticker: "God Bless America" (with flag)

Did he slowly hurry or quickly meander?

It may have been more of a quick meander. Tough to tell with hounds. He looked quite happy, either way.

Maybe the hound was looking for the 5 loaves of bread.

I saw a sticker on the back window of an SUV yesterday that featured the following text:

"It's not just about guns, it's about freedom!" [included a graphic of what looked to be a fraternal order of police of some area]

Whew! Thank goodness that's cleared up!
