Seek Alternate Routes

People have complained about the manner the MA SJC has gone about trying to bring equal rights to the same-sex couples of this state. Judicial activism and such.

I'm not a legal scholar, but I know traffic.

When you're in one place, and what's right is in another place, you hit the road. Then you clear a hill and you see a line of cars ahead of you in all lanes that reaches many miles. It's stone cold dead in its tracks.

If you can do so within the law, you seek alternate routes.

See my comments on the previous post re: Plessy v. Ferguson and Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, KS.

If these empassioned yet short-sighted idiots push through an ammendment to the MA State Constitution, it will wind up before The Supremes, who have precedent by which to smite them (i.e. the landmark Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, KS).

God, what a thing to get your knickers in a twist over. The good thing is that homosexual marriages can begin this May, and the earliest this proposed ammendment can come before the pouplace is 2006, so perhaps in that time, people will notice that their hetero marriages won't have goon *poof* (no pun intended) and that it's a non-issue.

Would that they were so interested and strident over the lies from the lying liars in this country.

Sheesh!
