Bush: Newsmaker

What do you do if you’re Bush and you don’t like the news that’s on TV. Why, you make your own fake news, of course. Complete with fake reporters giving you a standing O for signing a Medicare bill.

Why lie? You'll be found out eventually, and then you'll look like an idiot.

Honestly. I just don't know sometimes.

Thanks for posting this; I've sent the NYT article to family and friends.

By the way, are you punning on Mentos here?

Bush: the freshmaker

Eew...never mind.

He ain't no Freshmaker. Mentos are too vaguely Euro for Bush.

Having ready the NYT article, I must say I think John Kerry was right when he was "accidentally caught" saying "These guys are the most crooked, you know, lying group of people I've ever seen."

I love how they're peeing their pants over Kerry's comments about international leaders wanting Bush to lose.

In last week's , it was said that "Old Europe" would love to see Kerry be president.

I should have saved the article--it was quite good. Kerry is multi-lingual, studied abroad, et. In short, he is everything Bushie Bush is not.

Hmm. I tried to use the italics option listed in teh "comment guidelines," but all that did was kill my word. Where did I go wrong?

The article to which I referred above was in last week's Economist.

You need to surround your word with the HTML tag.

The word <i>bird</i>
becomes bird

Thanks for the links - HOW did I manage to miss THIS??!?!?!!!

The Bush administration just creeps me out.

Posted by: Mala at March 16, 2004 5:47 PM

Does this administration remind anyone else of cold war Russia?

* It is unpatriotic to question your leaders.
* If you are not with us you are against us.
* The government funds and produces propaganda to make you believe they are doing a good job.
* Facts are irrelevant. The administrations desires dictate truth.

I think that NATO should ally against us like we did against Russia in the cold war. Canada and Mexico can mass tanks on our borders for their own safety and protection.

I propose that the word 'Bush' become a slang word synonymous with "lie" and also "spin". What a colossal ass that guy is. I Bush you not.
