Gay Marriage Spreading

Steve scooped Bil. And I’m just plain lazy, so I get my news from them.

Rhode Island will continue to recognize MA marriages — even those new ones that everyone is talking about. Conneticut, on the other hand, will not recognize same-sex marriages.

And somewhere today, Bush said he wanted to change the constitution to solidify his base preserve the sanctitiy of hetero marriage. One thing you can say about Bush: when he’s right, he’s right. And we’re all still waiting for that to happen at least once before he leaves office.

I just don’t get it. People consider this to be a sign of the apocalypse, but Luke Perry bringing the house down (which probably appears in a Nostradamus quatrain somewhere) gets by with little mention.

Ailsa is talking about the few dour protesters who appeared at city hall. The bigots are getting lazy.

I'm here to report that my heterosexual marriage suffered no ill effects from all the homosexual marriages that went on yesterday.

Whew, that's a relief. I'd hate to think that my upcoming nuptials would invalidate anyone else's. ;)

Remember to support the lawmakers who voted against the descriminatory amendment to the Massachusetts State Constitution. Support them in the polls, but also support them by putting your money where your mouth is and sending them campaign contributions.

I heard the phrase "culture war" many times on the news yesterday, and I'm ready for a fight if they are. We've got to be focused and we've got to open up our wallets, just like the opposition.

Surf on over to http://www.democracyforamerica.com and find out who's running to win seats in local, state, and federal elections.

The other side is armed and ready to defeat us, and I, for one, will not stand by and watch.

"The other side is armed and ready to defeat us, and I, for one, will not stand by and watch."

Amen to that.
