Shotgun For Industry

J is for James

  • Onion Bush —> Reality (Onion-rerun)
    • In 2001, the Onion wrote a wise-ass premonitory story about Bush. In 2004, someone now links aspects of this story to news stories showing what has come true.
  • Strong Bad Look-Alike (Trinket)
    • This little toy in Archie McPhee left Patti feeling Strong Bad-esque. Looks like we’re gonna have to jump!
  • Bow Man (Game)
    • I can’t remember if I’d posted this before, so here goes again. Fun with arrows. Repeatedly try to pelt your opponent. Both monotonous and gory. And, if you try hard, you can shoot yourself.
  • Forcefield (Online store)
    • Also known as “Wonder Magnets .com” —- this site is a place to buy Neodimium magnets. I love magnets. Magnets are awesome.
  • Sunday Bloody Sunday (Song Cover)
    • This is GWB singing U2’s popular song. Yes, someone actually pasted it together from audio sources. It’s really Bush saying the lyrics to music.
  • Gashlycrumb Tinies (Essential Edward Gorey)
    • It’s a classic
  • What Gorey Death Will You Die? (Quiz)
    • Places you somewhere in the Gashlycrumb Tinies. I don’t need to take the quiz. I know I’m going to die from drinking lye.
  • How To Carry Your iMac G5 (Instructions)
    • Apple has instructions on its website for carrying the iMac G5. I’ve read them, and the instructions are cross-platform!
  • Classic 80’s Games (Flash Games)
    • Play classic 80’s games in flash! Pacman, Simon, Asteroids, Tetris, Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt, Space Invaders, Frogger, Star Castle, Moon Patrol, Pong … You know you want to.

Meh. Rush sings "I'm a Nazi" is much funnier. Posted by: Chuck S. at September 10, 2004 1:17 PM

Apparently, I will be sucked dry by a leech. (F is for Fanny...) If you take the quiz, you have a 0% chance of being done in by lye. Sadly, there are only six possible outcomes. I suspect you would be "Z is for Zilla who drank too much gin".

No based on James descriptions of his eating/drinking experiments I think that drinking lye is pretty likely. I apparently need to stay away from mires.

Said the schmaltz king...

Damn! I'm going to sink in a mire.

Don't know how they knew about the chicken fat thing.

Heh, I messed up the HTML on a revision of this post. Fixed.

Yeah, I *might* drink lye. But the quiz says "leeches."

I enourage you all to go out and read some Gorey.

Firesign Theatre was, indeed my inspiration.

Please mentally insert a comma after "indeed" in the above entry.
