No Way. NO WAY!

  • Damon is the man.
  • Yankees suck.
  • Who’s your daddy? Hmmm?
  • The champagne is flowing.
  • Someone down the street is shooting off fireworks.
  • World Series, baby. See you Saturday.
  • Grand slam. See #1.
  • Four in a row. Improbable? Yes. Impossible? Not for this team.
  • Not even A-Rod’s Judo Chop could save the Yankees.
  • Worst implosion in post season history.

Who's your daddy indeed.

Bite me, Steinbrenner!

*sqeeeee* still giggling this morning, and crying, believe it or not! they won! and what a great moment at school - 150 kids chanting 'let's go, Red Sox!' at the top of their not-insignificant lungs. hee! :)

One small correction. A-Rod's desperate lunge wasn't a judo chop it was an honest-to-goodness, no doubt about it, open fingered, limp wristed bitch slap.

That said, the highest paid player in the game will have plenty of time to practice his technique while he's watching the Red Sox in the World Series.

My head never hurt so much but, trust me, it's a good hurt. A very good hurt indeed.

I couldn't agree more. When that play happened my firstthought was here we go again. The Red Sox are gonna get screwed. Then when the replay was shown I was hopping up and down in my basement (Patti was asleep upstairs) mad (not angry, I may have actually been frothing at the mouth at that point). When the call was reversed I instantly went to hopping up and down happy while giving the TV the finger every time ARod's petulant "what did I do wong expression was shown" and silently saying to myself now all you Yankee fans have a SLIGHT idea of what it feels like to be a Red Sox fan.

I then spent the rest of the game wearing a hole in the rug in front of the TV.
