A Brief Message

To all you Cards fans who are good sports, you’ve got my respect.

However, I have a brief message for the Yankees (especially Derek Jeter) and any Yankee or Cardinals Fan who is getting up this morning and saying “Sometimes the best team doesn’t win.”

The message can only be given properly in audio format.

[NOTE: As far as I can tell, most Cardinals fans are of the good sport type. See here. In fact, not just good sports, they’re awesome.]

Oh this isn't a new name that movie? Damn!

Wouldn't be a bad idea for a new name that movie game (audio clips or quotes)

The celebration doesn't end Saturday.

We host the Yankees for the home opener in '05. Yes, that's right, the Yankees will be at Fenway when the Championship Banner is lifted into place.

get. out. the Yankees will be there for the hoisting of the banner? perfect!

I heard this on WFNX this morning, but I wasn't sure if it was true. I have searched the web and have visited both MLB and Yankees pages, but found no evidence to support this claim.

If I knew for sure this was going to happen, I'd rub my hands together with glee and say "Mwa ha ha ha ha!"

Someone on WBZ TV referred to "the curse of A-Rod" today. HAH!

Love it! Couldn't happen to a nicer wife-swapper. I mean guy. Ooop! What a giveaway.

What would really cement the curse of A-Rod is if the Rangers go to the Series next year. :)

What's this? Wife swap? Oh, my!

Posted by: Patti M. at October 29, 2004 8:43 AM

what would really cement the A-Fraud Curse would be for the Rangers and Yankees to play in the ALCS. Then in game 7 at Yankee Stadium (The House That The Sox Tore Down) Alfonso Soriano (the man traded for Gay-Rod) hits a series winning homer in the 11th...ah, poetic justice :)

Yes and remember it was the person traded away from the team for which the curse should be named (hence it isn't the No No Nanette curse. So the cures SHOULD be The curse of the Soriano.
