Do You Know The Muffin, Man?

Did I mention how good Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Spice muffins are? Yesterday, Sara brought some in for us, and I mentioned it in passing, but failed to describe how deliciously addictive they are.

Today, MK waltzed in with muffins for all of us, and she doesn’t even work here. She appears, says “Hi,” bestows muffins and then breezes out after a couple of minutes. Huge thanks, MK. If it’s possible to drown one’s sorrows in a muffin, then this is the muffin tailored to that purpose. Sara and MK are truly emissaries of pastry goodness.

Next time you say to yourself, "Gosh, I should make healthier food choices," remember that eating a muffin for breakfast is the same as eating cake for breakfast.

Not that I have anything against muffins, but one should go through life with one's eyes wide open.

The muffin man is dead Billy.

On a day when I drag my ass to the University to observe an 8:AM pre-Calc class on Logarithmic Funcitons and then spend an hour trying to come up with something coherent to say about it... well, I'm in morale damage control mode for about 4 hours after that.

Believe me, a pumpkin cake muffin is a mental health choice at that point.

James, all you had to write for a descripion of Logarithmic Functions is this:

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........

My comments are on the students' use of technology in the class. The logarithms are the easy part, sadly!

But the class actually went quite well. The technology worked snoothly, and I did come up with some comments.

Completely unrelated, but triggered in my head by your mention of Logarithm and Calculus. We went to an MIT acapella show years back. One of the MIT groups was the Logarhythms. The music was all REALLY good and the groups did little skits interspersed. The Logs did one where the leader introduced the first three. Then the next three followed by the first three again. And so on, until everyone could name them with him. He then said "You are now experts in Logarythmic Differentiation".

What can I say? I LOVE geek humor.

It's good to open the show with a groaner, because people will be throwing beer at you if you're still making that kind of pun by the end of the show.

:-P

If I remember correctly, Dunkin Donuts muffins have 24 g of fat in them. The "low fat" ones have 12 g of fat. They are basically a dessert, but I think my husband knows that. I used to put the kids in the car when they were very little, drive around until they fell asleep, and then get myself a muffin and an iced coffee (which can be as fatty as the muffin if you get it with cream, but Dunkin Donuts has the option of skim milk). Then I would sit, look across the river and write while the girls were asleep. And eat my muffin.

And I grew very large. Largest I've ever been, except pregnant. :-) Large but happy.

Does this mean we could have called you Large Marge?

mntambernat.com they happen at the same time for me, the lyrics http://refinancing.tambernat.com/refinancing.html refinancing help and the music really building off one another. I http://loans.tambernat.com/loans.html loans relief need to work with this, play with this. There's something http://mortgage.tambernat.com/mortgage.html mortgage direct to be done with it. Another point Phil made in an http://debt-consolidation.tambernat.com/debt-consolidation.html _ entry - something to the effect of that when a band debt consolidation splits / diverges into solo albums (and, I would http://credit-counseling.tambernat.com/credit-counseling.html credit counseling add, side projects / splinter groups), the results credit counseling are rarely as satisfying, whether or not you (as http://loan.tambernat.com/loan.html loan the listener) are expecting the same music. I find http://online-loan.tambernat.com/online-loan.html online loan that to be true. Another thing that seems related http://refinance.tambernat.com/refinance.html refinance tambernat.comnm
