Name That Movie 21

It’s not too late… to name it. Name it good:

Wild guess: Animal House

Posted by: Chuck S. at January 11, 2005 9:38 AM

The dudes in yellow look like British cops at a crime scene.

The cap the vodka-toting man is sporting makes me think, for some reason, of an E.L. Doctrow story.

In short, I have no idea.

The yellow jackets make me think British police as well. Other than that I have no idea.

I'm stumped as well.

Looking at image 2. Still no freekin' clue. :-)

Posted by: Chuck S. at January 11, 2005 11:35 AM

Image 2? Where do you see that?

Posted by: Patti M. at January 11, 2005 11:39 AM

I'm going with Animal House, the first pic is the cop dropping "Bluto"'s stash after the Delta house had its charter revoked, and the second pic is the girl in the bunny outfit flying through the air to then land on the boy's bed during the havoc at the parade.

Big Top Pee Wee?

Just cuz the second image looks sort of circus-y, like an acrobat jumping on a trampoline or something.

It's been a loooong time since I've seen "Animal House." I couldn't say from these two images.

Wow, the server time stamp is way off.

Posted by: James at January 11, 2005 12:20 PM

Oh - I chenged how I post the images. Now they are each have their own link. That way people can look at the images one at a time, if they are coming in late. And they have access to the images without going to the entry page, which has the comments on it.

Also, it's less bandwidth under certain circumstances.

Yep, no doubt about it now. That's "Animal House."

Posted by: Patti M. at January 11, 2005 12:38 PM

Yeah, Image 3 did it. Definately Animal House.

Wow Chuck. Did you really get that on a wild guess from the 1st image?

Posted by: B.O.B.(bob) at January 11, 2005 12:56 PM

It is, indeed, Animal House!

Chuck's wild guess was spot on.

Two weeks in a row the first guess is correct. Maybe I need to give this up!

Looking at image 3 I'm going to stick with Animal House. Is that "Babs" in image number 2? I don't recognize any of these pictures specifically but they tweak something in my memory which says "Animal House".

The thing which made me think of Animal House in the first picture was the big bottles of booze (vodka). I remember vaguely a scene in the beginning of the movie where the frat house is being raided or something and all the booze and other contraband is being removed.

I remember John Belushi's character standing there going "I need sex. I need drugs. I need drink. I need somethin' man!" Then someone grabs one of the big vodka bottles and hands it to him and he chugs an enourmous quantity of it.

Holy smokes I'm right!?

How cool is that?

Well last week, you picked one of the most memorable images from the movie to be the first image. I would not have gotten it from most of the other images.

This week I just got lucky. People standing outside, guy with a box full of big vodka bottles... ordinarily I'd have gotten nothing from that... just a lucky turn of events.

Don't quit. You're going great. I love your NTM posts.

Yeah. It took me until image 3 as well. This was definitely a challenge as evidenced by the fact that nobody jumped on Chuck's bandwagon until later.
