Thank you James for unlocking a wonderful memory of me and my Dad making maple snow when I was a boy. I've thought about doing it with my own kid, but I'm worried about airborne pollutants. I gather you feel that is an unwarranted worry.
BTW, I think you've got a typo in your title.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about airborne pollutants. I've got to assume you're breahting in a much larger volume of pollutants daily than you would ingest by eating a bit of snow.
Just look out for that yellow snow. And don't eat the snow that falls off your roof. Otherwise is't as pure as the proverbial rainwater.
