When Life Hands You Snow

Make snowcones.

That’s strawberry snow on the left and maple snow on the right. Delicious.

In the worlds of Alton Brown:

I’m not saying it’s the best thing in the world for ya, I’m just saying it’s the best thing in the world.

Thank you James for unlocking a wonderful memory of me and my Dad making maple snow when I was a boy. I've thought about doing it with my own kid, but I'm worried about airborne pollutants. I gather you feel that is an unwarranted worry.

BTW, I think you've got a typo in your title.

Fixed the typo. :D Good catch.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about airborne pollutants. I've got to assume you're breahting in a much larger volume of pollutants daily than you would ingest by eating a bit of snow.

Just look out for that yellow snow. And don't eat the snow that falls off your roof. Otherwise is't as pure as the proverbial rainwater.
