We Have A Winner!

We have a winner of the Oscar Pool.

It’s Arthur B.

I didn’t total up points for the people who didn’t send in their full names, but it looks like Martine did pretty well with only one category incorrect.

In any case, Arthur, if you are interested in collecting the aforementioned prize, (your choice of “Mr. Scott’s Guide to the Enterprise” or a previously viewed VHS copy of Total Recall or a previously viewed VHS copy of “The Living Daylights” simply email me confirming your last name and your mailing address. You must contact me before midnight, Friday, March 4th.

An honorable mention goes to Sara D who got the same number of categories correct.

Here are the results for everyone.

Did you see the Razzie awards?

I have to admit, I expected Catwoman to be really, really awful. I was surprised that it wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen. Better than any Disney straight-to-DVD sequel. (can you tell I was just burned by Mulan II?)

Rummy for worst supporting actor. Yeah!!

I thought Halle Barry actually showing up and accepting the Razzie award was pretty cool. Hopefully she's fired her agent. What the hell was she thinking!

I did see the note about the Razzies.

I thought it was very cool that Halle Berry showed up to accept her Razzie. She's a good sport. Maggie is right, it's really not the worst film. Heck - it's not Halle Berry's worst film... Swordfish anyone?

But maybe they were going for a combination of hype and suckiness?

I think hype + ridiculous wardrobe + suckiness. I like Halle Berry, and I thought her acting was good. You can't blame her for the writing.

I'd give the Razzie to Mayor Adam West from the Family Guy for his role in "The Many Faces of Catwoman" on the DVD.

Heh. He wasn't that bad. Just a little creepy. I like him better on Family Guy.
