Liger on Public Display in Siberian Zoo
A liger — a cross between a tiger and a lion — that was born last summer has now gone on public display in an open-air enclosure at a Siberian zoo, RIA Novosti reports.
Or, from Napoleon Dynamite:
Posted by James at May 3, 2005 4:45 PMDeb: What are you drawing?
Napoleon Dynamite: A liger.
Deb: What’s a liger?
Napoleon Dynamite: It’s pretty much my favorite animal. It’s like a lion and a tiger mixed… bred for its skills in magic.
You can also see a liger at King Richard's Faire. There's some big-cat sanctuary place that has a side-show stage showing off some of their animals.
