GPS Visualizer
- This site takes all the work out of superimposing your GPS track files onto maps or satellite pictures. Just get the track file onto your computer by whatever means you have, then upload it to this site. It will generate a JPEG for you. There are a plethora of settings, if you want to get technical with it.

What is a character carnivale?

Character Carnival is when the kids all dress up as a character from their favorite book, and deliver a description of the book to the class and before their friends and families.

The idea is to promote reading by promoting books that the kids themselves find engaging. The kids get to express their interests (and dress up) and everybody gets to learn about what books the other kids are reading.

Of course, our neighbors all probably think we're the Adams Family now. M dressed up all in black as Violet Baudelaire, brought along her favorite doll all dressed in black as Sunny Baudelaire, and delivered a speech in which she described everyone dying in the Baudelaire childrens' lives, and then said "this is a wonderful book."
