Thursday Donutz

Wonka DonutsBob: "You have to have one of these. We should get Donutz"

JP: "What? No, I can't eat anything after that Depot Burger."

Bob: "Then we'll split one." (Dumps about 5 Donutz on counter, enough for us, his wife and kids) "These are the best."

Clerk: "You should buy them all, then."

Bob: "Not unless you're going to give me some insane discount."

Clerk: "Two for a dollar. They're usually 65 cents."

Bob: "I don't think so. How about two for 40?"

Clerk: "What??"

Bob: "I mean 40 each. Two for 80."

Clerk: "OK, take them all."

Bob: (Scoops the remaining 10 Donutz and puts them on the counter. Pretends to dismantle the display.)

JP: "What -- you're taking the display?"

Bob: "I'm just kidding."

Clerk: "No, go ahead and take the display, too."

Wonka DonutsBob: "OK - he said I could have it."

JP: "What are you going to do with that?"

Bob: "Put it in my office with some of these Donutz in it."

(Once we get outside)

Bob: "Dude, online these are like a buck apiece."

In my effort to discern exactly what "Donutz" are, I came across this listing in Google:

"Amazon.com: Wonka Candy Gift Cake: Gourmet Food"

Gormet food? I think not.

Donutz are there. Here's a guy with some time on his hands, huh?

So...were they tasty?

M collects candy wrappers, too.

But we've never suggested scanning them in and making a website.

I was really full when I ate my half, but it was like this"

Toroid. Solid chocolate filled with a truffle-chocolate-type filling. Nonpareils on top.

It was really sweet - much sweeter than a Lindt truffle. Too sweet for me, but definitely a chocolate fix if you need one. I prefer my chocolate to be more bitter and less sugary.
