When they're wrong

When they’re wrong, they can only shut you up.

They can try to shout you down, try to dispute the facts, change their story, lie, distract, and gang up on you.

But, in the end, they’re still wrong. And it will eat at them. And the only thing they can do to stop the mental anguish is to shut you up.

And then they win, and the lies win, and it’s all over.

Don't give up hope. They won't shut us up. LOL

Is this about anything in particular?

If you mean somebody specific, no. Not really. Just a reaction to my feelings on free speech. I don't even think I can point to a specific event that set me off. I was reading something about General Zinni. Maybe that made me think once more about how much bullshit we've had to deal with these last 5+ years.

Now you know why I take talk radio in small, carefully-planned and mindfully-administered doses. To wit: Last I heard was Keri exasperatingly emasculating some Rush-headed Dubyapologist. You go. It's good to have a teammate who can catch, pitch, and hit the ball. The truth will out. Remain Unafraid.
