I was thinking the same thing. If the final is Portugal/Italy we're thinking of going into Cambridge to watch it on Sunday.

My ideal would have been to see Germany play Italy for the Cup. Germany really does have a fantastic team this year. Both teams have been playing so well I did not know who to root for yesterday. I was both happy and sad. I am rooting for France to beat Portugal and then Italy to win with Germany beating Portugal for third.
My bracket is all messed up though. I had Ghana beating Brazil and England beating Portugal.

I'm going for Portugal all the way.

I want Portugal to go all the way as well. My sentence structure sucked and it looks like I am saying I want Italy to win.

I should learn to talk American better.

I want Fall River and New Bedford to go crazy in a good way.

Those Portuguese bums cost me a whole dollar! I mouthed off to husband and son that I was betting on the Spanish-type blood over the French and Italians. Husband bet a buck on the French and son declined to risk a dollar on his favorite Italy. Son's obviously the brains of this outfit, though, because he'll collect anyway if Italy wins.
