The first time I saw Mr. Yuk was on a Macintosh icon in a collection of files you gave me in the early 90's. For years I thought you created him.

Nice industrial fable from the animation festival.

Julie actually had a business card wiht his image on it sometime in the 90's.

Mr. Yuk is a classic!

I still have a few of those cards, but the only info on them that's still correct is my name. :)

The Bendito Machine movie was awesome.

Mr. Yuk - funny thing is, for all the TV I watched in the 70's, I don't remember Mr. Yuk at all. I don't remember the song, the commercial, or ever seeing the logo on any bottles under the sink (it's possible I never spent any time under the sink).

I remember lots of things from that time - tons of PSAs and toy commercials. I even remember Dick Van Dyke telling me to drop and roll if there's a fire. But no Mr. Yuk!

I picked that logo for my cards at first because I thought it was a cool subversion of a smilie face. When I found out he had something to do with poison, I liked him even better because I was studying chem at the time and was interested in toxic waste management. But I think this may be the first time I've ever seen the original Mr. Yuk commercial!
