BSG Webisodes

Can’t wait for Battlestar Galactica (easily the best scifi on TV and a good sight better than the majority of scifi movies) to start its new season? Itching to find out what they’ve got in store after revealing huge changes to the direction of the story in the season ender?

Then start early with Battlestar Galactica Webisodes — 4 so far of what will be 10 in all, appearing on the website every Tuesday and Thursday.

New broadcast episodes start October 6.

If you aren’t a Battlestar Galactica fan, then you make me sad.

My season 2.5 dvds should be shipping next Tuesday!!!. Can't really watch the webisodes since I won't be seeing the actual episodes until the dvd for season 3 comes out. Hopefully they'll split it like they did season 2. Otherwise I'll be waiting a year for this season.

I'm still not breaking down and getting cable/satelite.

I didn't watch moset of Battlestar Galactica until long after it aired. There is definitely an advantage to watchign TV on DVDs.

And I promise never to post spoilers here without warning.

I stopped watching halfway through season one. Looks like I have some catching up to do...

So, are there two sets of season 2 DVDs? I just recently got hooked and have plowed through Season 1. I am awaiting for season 2 to be available via Blockbuster online. Season 2 is listed as having 3 DVDs and all of them are "Short Wait".

BSG used a "split season" for season 2. So there's a season 2.5 set as well.

Glad to see people are getting in on this show!

Bri,

the 1st half of season two is out as season 2.0. the second half will be out next week as season 2.5.

James- I agree watching the dvd is a better experience (no commercials, continuing storylines without weeklong interuptions) but the wait is a killer. I only got into BSG in May/June and watched season 1 in about two weeks fromt he rental store. I then bought season 2.0 since they hadn't gotten it at the store yet and it really didn't cost that much more to buy it. I assume I will have to wait until at least February for the 1st half of season 3. If they don't split it I'm stuck until next September. Wah!!!

I've recently been watching the episodes in HD on UHD ... I wish Scifi was broadcast in HD.

I really gotta sit down and watch em all from the beginning tho... to date I've only seen like 5 (non sequential) episodes.

But I LIKE the show so far :)

DO NOT WATCH THE WEBISODES if you're not caught up on the episodes.

Obviously, the SciFi channel wants you to catch up as soon as possible so you can watch the broadcast episodes. I recommend catching up at your own pace.

Over the summer I caught up on an entire 4 years of "The Shield" while running on a treadmill. Of course, the makers of "The Shield" don't seem to want me to watch the broadcast version, because they still haven't announced the season 5 DVDs... Damn you, Vic Mackey!
