LOL. Your "urine or drool mark" scratch reminds me of our weird squirrel. There is a stain on our doormat. The other morning I opened the door to go out and wait for the bus with K, and there was a squirrel, sniffing the stain. Sniffing, sniffing... he glanced up at me but went right back to sniffing. Finally he left and we waited for the bus. About 45 minutes later I opened the door again to wait for the bus with M, and there was the squirrel again. Sniffing, sniffing... glances at me, goes back to sniffing. I wondered what it could be that the squirrel would be so fascinated by it.
(Time for a new doormat.)
