Would You Rather? Monsters

I considered doing something related to the election, but here’s something creepy instead.

Would you rather:

  • Be a werewolf
    • For a week around the full moon, you hunt by night
    • Silver is your bane
    • You regenerate really well, but have raw meat breath a lot of the time.
  • Be a vampire
    • Must avoid the Sun, garlic, the cross, holy water and mirrors, wooden stakes
    • Youthful, if pale, appearance
    • Irresistible thirst for blood

Vampire, because vampires are cool, and werewolves lose their minds when they change. Plus as a humanist vampire, I could really do something about the rat population. ;-)

Oh, disgusting.

But I guess they probably don't think it's disgusting. (Hypothetically.) My mom and I were talking about animal habits like regurgitating food and licking up fecal matter, and I reflected that if they don't think it's disgusting, then that's a real benefit there. I wouldn't want to do it because I think it's disgusting, but if it weren't, then I wouldn't be grossed out as much!

So, if I didn't think drinking human blood or hunting by night and eating raw meat were disgusting, then it really comes down to the logistical aspect. I don't think I'd like being trapped in during the day.

So I'll take werewolf, and we'll just have to have a special cage for me when the moon is full.

ooo that's a tough one. I think I'd choose vampire.

There are plenty of days when I avoid the Sun, garlic, the cross, holy water and mirrors, etc.

So, vampire.

I'm going to say werewolf. Why? Because when I think "Bloodsucker" I think of Republicans. Zing!

Vampire, because I don't think I could deal with the double-life of being a werewolf.
