Not-So-Live Election "Coverage"

I’m settled down here at home now, digging in for election night.

I have a bottle of ruby port (in honor of question 1), my laptop, the radio and the TV. As the level gets lower in the wine bottle, and the numbers roll in, I’m hoping for some good old fashioned American entertainment.

No matter what happens, I am, as usual, unreasonably excited. I’ll be in online in and out if anyone wants to chat. Via AOL, Google Chat and here. Check in if you’re bored.

Kerry Healey has conceded by phone, reports Jason over at WSAR.

Looks like Deval Patrick is our Governor Elect.

Blasphemy! Vitamin G is the *only* beer! p-shaw. Doesn't exist? I'd have drawn and quartered the upstart right then and there.

The Commonwealth has the 2002 election results on their website! I'm glad we have such up-to-date information at our fingertips. Grrr.

Last night, I heard a commentator on WBZ TV speaking of the gap between Healey and Patrick: It seems, he said, as though Healey has been run over by a Mack truck.

That so far is my favorite comment on this race.

Hey James, it was fun to hang out in chat with you, but by the time you said Good Night, I had already fallen asleep.

I think we're not going to have an answer in Virginia until Christmas. :-/

I noticed that while Mike and I were calling it a night, you were strangely quiet.

I figured you'd passed out from squinting at the Virginia results.
