I don't usually manipulate my photos much beyond correcting lighting problems, cropping and color correction (through the buttons offered in Picasa).

But sometimes it is a lot of fun to fiddle a little more. I used to use Photoshop a lot. But just fiddling with a few of the basic settings in Picasa I find that I can make a photo reflect more of what the scene made me feel rather than what I saw.

If I were a better photographer I probably wouldn't need to do it at all, but this is fun.

Nice shot, this would look great in sepia!

I love Picasa! Great and easy to use, although I wish correcting red-eye was easier. (I also wish I would remember to check the flash setting before taking shots!)

I'm curious was there a particular reason you went to the Tower Mill? There used to be a lot of nice shops in here but it seems mostly empty now. :(

As for photography skills, I like you, wish I had more expertise, maybe we should both sign up for lessons!

I was in the area looking for an Asian market. I bought some candy in the candy shop at Tower. Squirrel Nut Zippers.

That shade of purple reminds me of the Jesus Prayer Rug.
