Monkeying With Time

As an experiment, I am setting all of the clocks in our house an hour ahead. Just to see what happens. I plan to keep it this way until probably some time in the autumn.

If you want to follow along at home, turn your own clocks ahead one hour.

Yes - it’s crazy, I know. But humor me.

I didn't have a choice but to set them ahead manually. I was hoping that the VCRs, DVD-RAMs, and TVs would set themselves ahead on their own since they're supposedly set by channel 2 - but channel 2's clock seems to be offline or something, because none of my gizmos could find channel 2 to sync up with.

I noticed that too, Julie. My new DVD player didn't automatically switch over so I had to do it manually. I'm going to keep trying to sync it automatically so it can get the seconds right.

All of our gadgets at home are happy and using the right date. Here at work, the fax machine is sulking and won't receive faxes, and some of the computers won't finish booting up. Ugh.
