Check back soon for at least one new drink recipe over the weekend, when I experiment with pomegranate-flavored seltzer. If you're bored until then, why not make something useful.

If you're still bored, there's always checking up on your friends via Twitter. It costs you nothing to sign up except that dignity you haven't been using. Posted by James at May 25, 2007 7:59 AM

I'm glad you mentioned the drink thing again, because I need to retract my statement about Jarritos watermelon soda. I still think it's yummy, but there's no way it could stand up to pomegranate juice in a mixed drink. Flavored vodka yes, but not pomegranate juice.

It might still be good with some Midori, though.

Appalling story of the day:

What happens if you lose your son and then listen to greedy lawyers?

Maybe I shouldn't blame lawyers; maybe it was the parents' idea. Either way, it's completely nutfudge.

More good stuff:

David's link dump post today has good stuff, including a story on how target="_blank">Staples is accepting computer equipment for recycling, for a $10 fee.

Newest origin-of-life kid on the block: . I for one, welcome our new hyper bunny overlords.

"All bollocks" - I like it. Anyway, better hyper bunnies than lolcats. I am sick to death of lolcats, already!

Here's something less useful that you can make:

It's addictive, when you have the right paper. A 1/2" strip of 11" paper is just the right size to train with, if you have a paper cutter handy.

You can buy smaller, better-looking, properly-sized paper online, but it's kind of expensive, given that you're producing something that's worthless (if cute).
