Would You Rather

A silly question for today:

  • Would you rather have the ability to tickle anyone, anywhere, any time just by thinking about it or
  • Would you rather have your voice automatically have a soothing effect on anyone within earshot (not recordings, only your live voice).

Tickling.

(I assume that no one would know I was doing it.)

I would use this power in a mischievous and irresponsible manner, but I figure it's nicer than punching or malicious gossip.

Having children, I'll pick the soothing.

Go to beeeeed. Goooo to beeeeeed.

While the tickling power would be a blast, it would really encourage me to give in to my goblin-like nature.

The soothing voice would be a great skill in numerous settings. I could become a great mediator.

I predict Briwei goes for the voice.

It's a tough call. There are all those gray areas not stated like: Would you be able to tickle someone who is not ticklish? Would your voice ALWAYS be soothing, or only when you wanted it to be? It would be great for calming rowdy groups of kids at rehearsal, but if you got that at the expense of your ability to inspire, I wouldn't take it.

So, voice unless it is an always on ability. And then, tickle.

I dislike being tickled, and I suspect others feel similarly.

I choose soothing. Does it work on pets, too?

Come on, how could I pass up on the tickling? I'd use it whenever somebody was a little too full of themselves. Who wouldn't want to tickle certain public officials when they are making a bullshit speech? That would be too much fun.
