Bagels Face Inwards

Bagels Face

Inspiration from a toaster.

If I were planning to have a Jewish-themed blog about baking and introspection, this would totally be the name of that blog.

Alas, I have no such plan.

If bagels are an introspective baked good, what would an extrospective one be?

That sounds like the name of a band.

Maybe a donut hole would be extrospective?

Wow, another band name: Extrospective Dessert. Reminds me of Ultimate Spinach (I have two of their albums, but that's another story).

I don't think real bagels are actually introspective. I think the bagels are simply a metaphor.

When I was in high school, I used to tell people my theory of life was that life was a bagel and the whole in the middle is unexpected. Of course at the time I was in Buffalo and didn't know from real bagels, so I was speaking ex cathedra from my belly-button, as Jubal Harshaw put it.
