Twilight? Twi-Lame Shotgun

I'll be glad when the Twilight hype is over. I couldn't stand to see another trailer. However, I DID find a tween-vampire movie trailer that I did like. More about that after the links.

BONUS GAME:

Auditorium : A bland name for a weird play-and-exploration oriented game based on forces, particles and music.

Let The Right One In

So, here's the trailer for Let The Right One In. It's a Swedish film based on a horror novel of the same name. This sounds much better than the icky Twilight. It's playing at the Avon. Check out the trailer:

From the sound of it, though, the novel is more disturbing than the film. Sign me up!

Here's a short blurb about the creation of "Prop 8: The Musical":

Auditorium should be named "One More Level"! That's the one I couldn't stop playing. OML got old pretty quick for me.

I saw the trailer for "Let the Right One In" before. It looks great, though I am not a subtitle fan. I may have to get the book.

Briwei - I just found out the Stone Brewery is in Escondido. Do they do tours? more importantly -- do they give out free samples of Double bastard?

Posted by: James at December 5, 2008 3:11 PM

They DO do tours. As I am not a beer drinking, I can't speak to the samples. But the food at their brew-pub is quite good.

James - I know someone professionally who toured the brewery. He said the tour was not enjoyable at all; his exact words:

"Screw those pricks! Took a little field trip to their brewery this past spring. It was like an episode of "The Hills" set in a wannabe REI. I would give details, but doc tells me my blood pressure is too high to even start.

Worst. Brewery. Tour. EVER!"

Yikes! What did they do to him - beat him with sticks?

Or did they just act like a bunch of arrogant bastards?

I SO want to see "Let the Right One In". Providence is 2 hours from NH. So, I guess I'll be waiting for the DVD release next year ... or for the English remake in 2010.

Dave reports back and says that "Let The Right One In" was indeed creepy and a refreshing change from the usual vampire fare.

That was Bob's entry from our home computer, which was last used by me.
