Will It Snow?

Oh the weather forecast is frightful,
And the cancellations, delightful.
But now we've no place to go.
Will it snow, will it snow, will it snow?

Not a flake yet is droppin,
While the dire reports aren't stoppin.
'78 seems so long ago.
Will it snow, will it snow, will it snow?

I have a wedding to shoot today in Newport. That should be fun. I'm hoping that this turns out to be one of those Boy Who Cried Wolf or TV Channel Who Cried Storm Of The Century situations, but we'l see.

I packed up my laptop and paperwork last night so I could stay in today. Even with public transportation, my commute was terrible during the Dec. '07 storm. I decided not to chance repeating the experience. Plus, who wouldn't rather work at home?

Bob's at jury duty in Woburn, and I'm hoping they'll let them out in advance of the planned 4:30 time.

We had frost this morning. Does that count?

Bob has been let out of jury duty, so that's good.

It's snowing in Fitchburg!

Glad to hear Bob was released from jury duty. It's snowing quite hard here now in Somerset. After just a few minutes, there was accumulation.

Everything's white in New Bedford now, too.

We just went out to push our neighbor up her driveway before she hit a tree or stone wall--yikes!

We failed as she has no tire tread. Plus, there's a layer of ice under the snow in her driveway. We had her park in our driveway.

It's fine snow, but it's coming down rapidly. I'm glad we're both home.

The birdies are really happy I've filled and then refilled the feeders today, and I changed the birdbath water. It's a birdie mob scene out there!
